Weldon
Weldon
Thomson is an accomplished wildlife and nature photographer
based in San Diego, California. His images been honored
with numerous awards including First Place in the 1999 Quest
Nature & Eye photo contest sponsored by the San Diego
Natural History Museum and Union-Tribune.
From
his home in the mountains of San Diego's east county, Weldon
has access to a variety of scenic terrain and habitat from
beaches to deserts. Wildife opportunities in San Diego
county include a huge assortment of resident and migrant
bird species as well as a variety of mammals including endangered
peninsular bighorn sheep.
Weldon's
travels throughout much of the southwest to scenic areas
of interest in states including California, Arizona, Utah,
Hawaii, and Wyoming.
His
business, Rocky Pass Nature Photography, offers stock images
and fine art prints as well as other photographic and digital
imaging services.
